Wispar is a free, open-source app for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux that allows researchers to subscribe to academic journals and topics across all academic disciplines to stay up to date with new research articles. The app draws on the databases of Crossref and OpenAlex. Once it has been downloaded, articles across all disciplines can be accessed via Unpaywall in Open Access and unlocked through your institution. Articles can be saved offline and sent directly to Zotero. The tool does not require an account and does not track users.
