Wie Registered Reports funktionieren
Registered Reports are an extended form of preregistration. They involve peer review of the planned research question and methods by a journal before data collection and analysis take place. If this first review is positive, the journal commits in principle to publishing the paper (in-principle acceptance), regardless of the results. The condition is that the study is carried out as agreed and that any deviations are disclosed and justified. This is checked in a second review after the study has been completed.
