Conference Theme: Come Invent With Us! Innovating Open Practices to Uphold and Uplift Knowledge as a Public Good. We recognize that invention is most powerfully sparked when different perspectives and practices intersect. Therefore, we look forward to a program that integrates the arts and sciences; Indigenous and Western knowledge systems; global and local viewpoints; research-based and lived experiences; and other open movements (open source software, open data, open access, open science) and open education.

This engaging event brings together over 1,600 educators and open education advocates in-person and online to collaborate, support, and drive strategies for education that are accessible, affordable, and reflective of the learners they serve.

OpenAIRE is running a series of community calls for ARGOS to support all researchers in meeting their Horizon Europe requirements by creating FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) DMPs. Similarly, it supports all research performing and funding organisations to orchestrate their data services around ARGOS and connect data workflows contributing to interconnected Research Data Management ecosystems. These calls offer the opportunity to discover ARGOS novelties and learn how to benefit from them in your practice, share feedback and discuss the future of DMPs as FAIR and machine actionable outputs, i.e. as complete outputs that bring validated information, qualified references and automations to the table to assist the processes of collecting, documenting and publishing your data.

Den Kern des Workshops bildet die praktische Gestaltung offener Lehr-/Lernszenarien. Anhand realer Anwendungsfälle diskutieren Sie Chancen und Herausforderungen offener Lehre und erfahren, wie Sie OER sinnvoll in die Phasen der Lehrplanung, -durchführung und -nachbereitung integrieren können. Darüber hinaus lernen Sie die Funktionen und Features unseres Portals www.twillo.de etwas besser kennen.

During the workshop, you will first learn about the most important (legal) principles for the use and creation of open educational materials. The core of the workshop is the practical design of open teaching/learning scenarios. Using real use cases, you will discuss the opportunities and challenges of open teaching and learn how you can integrate OER into the phases of lesson planning, implementation and follow-up in a meaningful way.
