In diesem Workshop erhalten Sie einen praxisnahen Überblick über die wichtigsten Rechtsgrundlagen für die Nutzung fremder Inhalte in der Lehre. Anhand typischer Szenarien aus dem Lehralltag klären wir u.a. die folgenden Fragen: Was erlauben § 60a UrhG (Unterricht und Lehre) und das Zitatrecht? Wo liegen ihre Grenzen? Was ist beim Einsatz von Lehrbuchabbildungen, PDFs, Videos und Online‑Materialien in Moodle, Stud.IP & Co. zu beachten? Wie können offene Lizenzen (Creative Commons) und OER helfen, rechtliche Hürden zu reduzieren? Wie sollten Folien und Materialien gestaltet sein, um fremde Inhalte rechtssicher einzubinden?

In this workshop, you will receive a practical overview of the most important legal bases for the use of third-party content in teaching. Using typical scenarios from everyday teaching, we will clarify the following questions, among others: What do § 60a UrhG (teaching and learning) and the right to quote allow? What are their limits? What needs to be considered when using textbook images, PDFs, videos and online materials in Moodle, Stud.IP and similar platforms? How can open licenses (Creative Commons) and OER help to reduce legal hurdles? How should slides and materials be designed in order to incorporate third-party content in a legally compliant manner?
