Increase the Reuse of Your own Research Data

You can encourage the reuse of your research data by making your research data FAIR and publishing it.

For most scientific publications, only a small proportion of the data collected during the research is published in the final publication. Nevertheless, science as a whole profits when the entire data of a project is made publicly available in the manuscript. The data should be freely accessible without restrictions in the internet under a suitable public domain licence, in order for them to be used for other purposes.

You can find further information on how to influence the use of your research data in our post “How can I influence the way my research data is used?”.
